Don
Holbrook recently sent us some of his collection of memorabilia
from the Greenville Memorial Auditorium, including photographs,
publicity material, box office records, and other material.
It is presented here for
historical purposes. It's an insight into a great old building and
a way of tracking costs at a pro-wrestling event in the 1970s and
1980s.
It's also everything you never
wanted to know about a wrestling arena. But hopefully, there is
something here that will capture everyone's interest. My thanks to Don for sharing this material with us, and for bringing
back some great memories from the area where I first discovered
wrestling.
