Anderson Brothers Reunited (1984)

December 28, 2009 - Some of the internet rumors and reports about Ole Anderson are not true. He was in the hospital for a few days over Christmas, but he now is much better and already home and already working out again at his gym in the mornings.

Among other problems, Ole was suffering from kidney stones, and confided to the nurse at the hospital that he hadn't been in that much pain in some time. "Have you ever felt worse pain?", she asked him. "Sure I have," he told her. "What could have possibly caused you more pain than a kidney stone?" she asked. Ole replied - "Danny Hodge."

The nurse didn't get the joke, but Ole felt better for setting the record straight.

"With the Horseman DVD in production people have asked me my opinion of Ole Anderson. Firstly, the Horseman DVD won’t be as good as it could be without Ole’s input. Secondly, Ole was a brilliant, wrestling mind who was a tough son of a gun and an excellent wrestler.

He might never be elected Mr. Congeniality but that job doesn’t pay too well as best I know. Ole was challenging to work for at times but I learned a great deal from him as it relates to the business. I don’t think he likes me much but aside from that I have great respect for him and regard him as one of the best in ring talents I ever saw. His partnership with the late Gene Anderson was awesome."

Ole Anderson and the Masked Superstar Bill Eadie reunite at an event in Athens, GA. in Sept. 2006.

The two wrestlers are synonymous with the white-hot period when Georgia Championship Wrestling was the highest rated program on all of cable television in the early 1980s.
