In May of 1974, the
Anderson Brothers leave the Mid-Atlantic area to wrestle in Georgia full
time for a seven (7) month period of time. Listed below are some
selected Georgia Wrestling highlights from that year.
MAY 3, 1974 - ATLANTA, GA
Ole & Gene Anderson defeat Earl Maynard & Tiger Conway, Jr. in one of
their early matches back in the Georgia territory.
MAY 31, 1974 - ATLANTA, GA
Ole & Gene Anderson defeat Bob Armstrong and Robert Fuller to win the
Georgia Tag Team Championship.
JUNE 1, 1974 - GRIFFIN, GA
Jerry Brisco & Andre the Giant defeat Ole & Gene Anderson

Ole & Gene Anderson defeat Tim Woods & Bobo Brazil by DQ to retain their

Match
The Andersons leave Georgia
on late November 1974 to return to the Mid-Atlantic territory where they
win the NWA World Tag Team championships. They would not return
full-time to Georgia until October of 1976.
During 1975, they return to
Atlanta for at least two NWA Tag Team title defenses: the first against
Rocky Johnson and Jerry Brisco on March 10, and the second against Dick
Slater and Mr. Wrestling #2 on December 19, 1975.
